Place bushing (5) and spring (4) in control rod lock (3). Install lock (3) on two control rod clamps (6). Secure with screw
(2) and new lock nut (1).
7.
Adjust control rod lock as follows:
a.
Release control rod lock (1). Push engine control rod (2) in to fully disengaged position.
b.
Loosen two screws (3, 4) securing two control rod clamps (5) to engine control rod (2).
c.
Place two control rod clamps (5) to maintain gap of 1/32-3/32 in (.8-2 mm) between control rod lock (1) and engine
control rod support guide (6).
d.
Tighten two screws (3, 4) to secure two control rod clamps (5) to engine control rod (2).
e.
Release control rod lock (1). Pull engine control rod (2) to fully engaged position.
