REPLACE IDLER WHEEL HUB/BEARINGS AND SEALS -- Continued

7.
Place idler wheel hub (1) on idler wheel arm (2). Completely pack cavity in hub with grease (WP 0128 00).
8.
Pack outer bearing (3) with grease. Install outer bearing in idler wheel hub (1).
9.
Install new key washer (4) and nut (5) on idler wheel arm (2). Tighten nut to adjust bearings as follows:
a.
Tighten nut (5) to 140-150 lb-ft (190-203 Nm) torque.
b.
Back off nut (5) until there is no torque.
c.
Tighten nut (5) to 70-75 lb-ft (95-102 Nm) torque.
d.
Back off nut (5) to align nearest cotter pin hole in nut with cotter pin hole in idler wheel arm (2).
10. Install new cotter pin (6) in idler wheel arm (2).
11. Install new gasket (7), access cover (8), and four screws (9) in idler wheel hub (1).
12. Fill idler wheel hub (1) with grease (WP 0128 00).
