REPLACE ENGINE TO BULKHEAD FUEL LINES AND FITTINGS (M548A1) -- Continued

REMOVAL
NOTE
Remove tubes and hoses with clamps attached. Attach clamps to replacement hoses and tubes.
1.
Disconnect fuel inlet hoses (1) and fuel return hoses (2) at rear bulkhead.
2.
Remove two screws (3), lock nuts (4), three clamps (5), and strap (6) that secure fuel inlet hose (1) and fuel return
hose (2) to engine. Discard lock nuts.
3.
Use open end box wrench to disconnect fuel return hose (2) at tee (7). Remove tee, two washers (8), and lock nut (9)
from fuel return tube (10). Discard lock nut.
4.
Remove fuel return tube (10) from elbow (11). Remove elbow and tube from engine.
5.
Disconnect and remove fuel inlet hose (1) from elbow (12) at fuel pump (13). Remove elbow and bushing (14) from fuel
pump.
