TM 9-2350-247-20-1 DOME LIGHT WORKS IMPROPERLY 0048 00 INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Multimeter (WP 0541 00, Item 29) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) NOTE M548A1 and M548A3 troubleshooting procedures are the same. M548A1 procedure is shown. T 1. Remove main harness plug (1) from jack (2) on failing dome light. 2. Turn MASTER SWITCH ON. 3. Measure voltage between main harness plug (1) and ground. 4. Does multimeter read 17 volts or more? YES NO GO TO 3Y (PAGE 0048 00-2) Y 1. Install main harness plug on dome light. 2. Have dome light bulbs been replaced? YES NO YN 1. Replace dome light bulbs (WP 0279 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 2Y 1. Replace dome light assembly (WP 0279 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 0048 00-1
