Pull cable (23) up from cable sheath and feed cable (23) to outside of vehicle.

Connect adapter (31 ) to inside end of handle tube(19).

Install two cable straps (27) with two screws (30), new Iockwashers (29), and washers (28).
Install two washers (21 ), packing (20) and nut (22) on outside end of handle tube (1 9).
Secure cable (23) to wedge (25) with fastener (24).
Install handle (26) on cable (23) by tightening fastener (24).
Secure handle (26) to nut (22).
Install new fire extinguisher seal (18) on exterior handle (26).
