APU HOUR METER REPLACEMENT.
This Task Covers:
a. Removal
b. Installation
Initial Setup:
Tools/Test Equipment:
Equipment Conditions:
• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
• Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to
Appendix I)
TM 9-2350-287-10).
• APU plenum removed (para 18-17).
Materials/Parts:
• Lockwasher (3) (Item 159, Appendix H)

REMOVAL
Remove wire BY (4) from hour meter positive
terminal (3).
Remove wire BZ (8) from hour meter negative
terminal (9).
Remove three screws (1), Iockwashers (7),
and nuts (6) securing hour meter (2) to APU
support (5). Discard Iockwashers.
INSTALLATION
Install hour meter (2) on APU support (5) with
three nuts (6), new Iockwashers (7), and screws
(1).
Connect wire BZ (8) to hour meter negative
terminal (9).
Connect wire BZ (4) to hour meter positive
terminal (3).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
• Install APU plenum (para 18-17).
