17-4. CONVEYOR SUPPORTS AND CONVEYOR SUPPORT BRACKETS REPLACEMENT.

l Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to

TM 9-2350-287-10).
l Conveyor deployed (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
Materials/Parts:
l Lockwasher (Item 166, Appendix H)

REMOVAL
WARNING
Make sure conveyor is supported before removing supports. Sling assemblies alone are
insufficient support for working on conveyor. Failure to properly support conveyor may result
in conveyor falling, causing serious injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Left and right conveyor supports and support brackets are replaced the same way.
Remove nut (5), washer (4), and bushing (2) from upper support (3) on convey or (1).
Push upper support (3) free of convey or (1).
Loosen friction handle (6) on lower support (8).
Remove quick-release pin (7) from upper and lower supports (3 and 8).
Remove upper support (3) from lower support (8).
Remove nut (14), Iockwasher (1 5), washer (1 6), screw (10), and lower support (8) from support bracket (9).
Discard Iockwasher.
Remove screw (13), washer (12), spacer (11 ), and bracket (9) from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Install bracket (9) on vehicle using spacer (11), washer (12), and screw (13).
Install lower support (8), screw (10), washer (16), new Iockwasher (15), and nut (14) on bracket (9).
Install upper support (3) on lower support (8).
