l Left and right projectile rack assemblies moved
to rear of vehicle (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
Materials/Parts:
l Personnel heater outlet hose and tee
l Drycleaning solvent (Item 28, Appendix D)
assembly removed (para 16-5).
l Rag (Item 56, Appendix D)
l Cotter pin (Item 10, Appendix H)

REMOVAL
1.
Remove screw (10), washer (9), and bracket (8) from heater duct (5) and splined nut (7) in bulkhead (6).
2.
Remove screw (12) and washer (11 ) from bottom of bracket (4) and splined nut (7) in bulkhead (6).
3.
Remove two screws (1) and washers (2), bracket (4), and duct guard (3) from heater duct (5) and two splined
nuts (7) in bulkhead (6).
4.
Remove heater duct (5) from bulkhead (6).

DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove two spring pins (13) from gate valve (14) and shaft (22). Discard spring pins.
2.
Remove cotter pin (16), two washers (15), and spring (17) from shaft (22). Discard cotter pin.
