• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
• Vehicle parked on level ground (refer to
Appendix I)
TM 9-2350-287-10).
• Driver’s hatch cover opened and secured
Materials/Parts:
(refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
• Lockwasher (4) (Item 196, Appendix H)
a.
REMOVAL
1.
Remove ball plunger (9) from security latch (8).
2.
Remove screw (11), latch (8), sleeve bearing (7), and washer bearing (10) from mounting plate (3).
3.
Remove two screws (6), Iockwashers (5), and washers (4) and mounting plate (3) from inside hull (2). Discard
Iockwashers.
4.
Remove two screws (12), Iockwashers (13), and washers (14) and latch hook (15) from driver’s hatch cover
(1). Discard Iockwashers.
5.
Remove stop screw (16) from latch hook (15).
