15-33. LOWER REAR DOOR REPLACEMENT.

Components removed from lower rear
Materials/Parts:
door stowage locations (refer to
Self-locking nut (2) (Item 332, Appendix H)
TM 9-2350-287-10).
Decontamination apparatus bracket removed
Personnel Required: Three
(para 15-36).

REMOVAL
1.
Open lower rear door (1) approximately 45 degrees.
WARNING
Lower rear door is very heavy. At least two persons must support door while it is being
removed. Failure to heed this warning may result in severe injury to personnel.
2.
With two assistants holding door (1), remove screw (2), washer (6), two bearing washers (3), and self-locking
nut (5) from each of two door hinges (4). Discard self-locking nuts.

Lift lower rear door (1) away from two door hinges (4).

INSTALLATION

Lower rear door is very heavy. At least two-persons are required to support lower rear
door while it is being installed. Failure to heed this warning may result in severe injury
to personnel.
With two assistants, position lower rear door (1) on two door hinges (4).
With two assistants supporting lower rear door (1), install screw (2), washer (6), two bearing washers (3), and
self-locking nut (5) in each of two door hinges (4).
Close and latch lower rear door (1) (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
