Disconnect wire 22 of harness 12330252from taillight assembly harness.5. Place red lead of multimeter on socket ofwire 22 of harness 12330252 and ground blacklead.6. Have assistant turn MASTER switch ON(refer to TM 9-22350-287-10).7. Check for 24 ± 3 vdc.8. Have assistant turn MASTER switch OFF(refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).Is voltage indicated?Repair or replace Ieft taillight assembly (para7-33). Verify problem is solved.C. 1. Loosen six screws, Iockwashers, and coverfrom driver’s instrument panel.2. Disconnect harness 12330252 from lightingswitch.NOTETo complete this step you will need tofabricate a muttimeter extensionusing at least 12 feet of wire andmake sure the end of the wire is ableto be used as a probe into a socket.3. Have assistant place one lead of multimeterto socket C of harness 12330252 light switchconnector and place other lead on socket ofwire 22 of harness 12330252 connector at rearof crew compartment.4.
