The controller can be trickedinto thinking the ambient temperatureis 50°F if an ice bag is placed on thecontroller.A. 1. Disconnect harness 12268389 connectorfrom glow plug controller.2. Place multimeter red lead on pin A of glowplug controller and ground black lead.3. Have assistant turn MASTER switch ONand hold GLOW PLUG switch ON (refer to TM9-2350-287-1 O).4. Check for 24 ± 3 vdc.5. Repeat above steps for pins B through H.6. Turn MASTER switch OFF (refer to TM 9-2350-287-1 O).Is voltage indicated at all 8 pins?Continued on next page2-74
