TM 9-2350-287-10
HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR: Holds hydraulic system fluid. Reservoir capacity is 13 gallons (49.26 liters).
SUCTION LINE: Passes fluid to the main or backup hydraulic pump. A strainer at the inlet of the line prevents
contaminants from entering the hydraulic circuits.
BALL VALVE: Controls the flow of hydraulic fluid through the suction line. This valve is manually operated and must be
opened before main or backup pump is operated.
RETURN LINE: Passes exhausted hydraulic fluid back to the reservoir. An in-line, 1 O0-micron filter removes particles
from the returning fluid.
BREATHER CAP: Vents reservoir pressure to atmosphere.
FILLER CAP AND TUBE: Permit ease of hydraulic fluid refill. A strainer is housed within the tube to prevent entry of
contaminants.
FLUID LEVEL TRANSMITTER: Monitors the level of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir. The transmitter emits an electronic
signal to a level gage on the hydraulic control panel.
FLUID TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER: Monitors the temperature of hydraulic fluid in the reservoir. The transmitter
emits an electronic signal to a temperature gage on the hydraulic control panel.
MICRON FILTER: Filters hydraulic fluid returning to the reservoir.
