TM 9-2350-287-10 OPERATING DOORS (continued) APU Front Door 1. To open APU front door (2), turn latch handle (1) counterclockwise. Grasp ’D’ ring (3) and pull door open. 2. Close door (2). Turn latch handle (1) clockwise to stop. Driver’s Hatch Door NOTE Driver’s hatch can be opened or dosed from outside of vehicle unless security latch is fastened from inside. Opening Driver’s Hatch Door 1. Turn handle (1) clockwise. 2. Open hatch door (2) until hatch tab (3) catches in hold-open hatch pin (6). WARNING Make sure quick-release pin Is properly Installed to secure latch in locked position. Failure to do so will cause severe Injury to personnel. 3. Remove quick-release pin (4) from storage position, and insert pin (4) through horizontal bracket (5) until pin (4) is over hatch tab (3). 2-143
