Call out “CLEAR” whenopening or closing, to prevent personnel from stepping infront of door.l When opening door from outside using lower switch, beaware of head and shoulder clearance. Serious injury mayresult if door strikes you.l Upper rear door is very heavy. Keep feet and hands clear ofopening when opening or closing.l During normal operation, mechanical safety lock should beused when positioning door. Lock supports door if hydraulicsafety mechanisms fail.l If conveyor is not to be deployed, make sure conveyorstowage strap is secure (p. 2-151) and cables are removedfrom conveyor before opening upper rear door. As doorrises above 90 degrees with cable connected, outboardsection of conveyor “jumps” from deployed position.
