TM 9-2350-277-34FINAL TEST – COOLANT HEATER — Continued 0077 001. Turn the heater on and run it until the coolant is hot enough to make the heater cycle from high to low heat. Leave theheater alone, then take the temperature of the coolant. The temperature should be between 140F (60C) and 170F(76C). If coolant temperature is not within limits, replace restriction thermostat (WP 0079 00).2. After testing the restriction thermostat, close circuit across terminal board terminals No. 4 and No. 5, to make the heaterstay on high heat. Heat the coolant until the heater burning stops. Check the temperature of the coolant, it should be notless than 220F (104C) or more than 250F (121C). If the coolant temperature is not within these limits, replace theoverheat thermostat (WP 0080 00).FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS1. Install coolant heater in carrier (see your -20).END OF TASK0077 00-7/8 blank
