INSTALLATION
NOTE
Procedures to install the control box/regulator bracket if removed, follow Steps 1 - 4.
NOTE
If installing a new bracket, clean paint around the areas the lockwasher will be mounted on
both sides of the bracket for the hull, regulator, and control box mounting location. This is to
insure proper grounding of both the regulator and NBC control box.
1.
Place four new lockwashers (12) on the hull weldment studs. Position the bracket (10) and secure with four new
lockwashers (12), two ground straps (6) and (13), and four screws (11).
NOTE
Place a lockwasher on both sides of the bracket to insure good grounding when securing the
regulator.
2.
Install regulator (3), eight new lockwashers (9), and four screws (8) on bracket (10).
3.
Install ground strap (6) new lockwasher (5), and nut (4) on regulator (3).
4.
Connect two cannon plugs (1) and (2) regulator (3).
