TM 9-2350-277-20-5 REPLACE M3 NBC HOSES AND FITTINGS (M1059A3 ONLY) — Continued 0788 00 21. Install hose (1) on air purifier (2) and tighten clamp (3). 22. If removed, install adapter (4) on operator’s heater (5). 23. Install operator’s inlet hose (1) on adapter (4) and tighten clamp (6). 24. Connect lead 537D (7) to operator’s heater (5). Install new straps (8) to secure lead to operator’s inlet hose (1). 25. Install three clamps (9) on operator’s inlet hose (1). Secure clamps to top plate with three screws (10) and new lockwashers (11). 26. Install two brackets (12), four screws (13), and new lockwashers (14) on top plate. 27. If removed, install adapter (15) on operator’s heater (5). 28. Install hose (16) on adapter (15) and tighten clamp (17). 29. Route hose (16) around bracket (12). Install hose on connector (19). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00). 2. Check air flow of NBC system. Follow procedures in TM 3-6680-316-10. END OF TASK 0788 00-7/8 blank
