INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Locknut (2) Lockwasher (3) Strap (as required) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 see TM 3-6680-316-10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery ground lead disconnected (WP 0338 00) REMOVAL 1. Loosen two clamps (1) and remove hose (2) from precleaner (3) and tube (4). 2. Loosen two clamps (5) and remove hose (6) from precleaner (3) and tube (7). 3. Cut straps (8) that secure hoses (9) and (10) to bracket (11). Discard straps. 4. If bracket (11) is damaged, remove two screws (12), four washers (13), two locknuts (14) and bracket from frame (15). Discard locknuts. 5. Loosen two clamps (16) and remove hose (9) from tube (4) and filter (17). 0786 00-1
