INSTALLATION
WARNING
Lifting or moving objects in excess of 70 lbs (32 kg) could injure you. Make sure to get an
assistant or use a lifting device to move generator set enclosure or other heavy objects.
1.
Install enclosure (7).
2.
Install four clamps (11), washers (10), and thumbscrews (9) in generator set enclosure (7). Secure with four new cotter
pins (8).
3.
Place enclosure (7) on bulkhead. Secure with four washers (6) and screws (5). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 55-60 LB-FT
(75-81 N m) TORQUE.
4.
If needed, add washers (4) to remove play between enclosure (7) and hull lugs.
5.
Align enclosure (7) with two hull lugs. Secure with two washers (4), washers (3), screws (2), and new locknuts (1).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install generator set (see your -10).
