INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Socket Adapter (WP 0926 00, Item 1) Torque Wrench (WP 0926 00, Item 86) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) REMOVAL NOTE Right front lifting eye has one screw (2) 2-3/4 inches (7 cm) long and three screws 2-1/2 inches (6 cm) long. All other lifting eyes use four screws 2-1/2 inches (6 cm) long. 1. Remove four screws (1) or screws (1)(2) that secure lifting eye (3) to hull. INSTALLATION 1. Install lifting eye (3) on hull. Secure with four screws (1) or screws (1)(2). 2. TIGHTEN SCREWS (1)(2) TO 175-200 LB-FT (237-271 N m) TORQUE. END OF TASK 0444 00-1/2 blank
