Remove cotter pin (1), two washers (2), and clevis pin (3) that connect control assembly cable stop (4) to lever link (5).
Disconnect cable stop from link. Discard cotter pin.

Loosen jam nut (6). Allow 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) minimum thread engagement of cable stop (7) on cable end (8). Tighten
jam nut against cable stop.
7.
Connect cable stop (7) to lever link (9). Secure with clevis pin (10), flat washer (11), and new cotter pin (12).

Adjust control assembly cable (13) in bracket (14) by turning two jam nuts (15) until end of cable stop slot (7) is against
clevis pin (10) (installed in Step 7 )or as close as thread adjustment allows. Tighten both jam nuts.
