TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSES, FITTINGS, AND MOUNTING — Continued 0399 00 NOTE Do Steps 6 - 12 only if elbow needs to be replaced. 6. Remove breather (1) and reducer (2) from top of transmission housing (3). 7. Remove two lockscrews (4), washers (5), and lifting bracket (6) from left end cover (7). Discard lockscrews. 8. Remove two lockscrews (8), washers (9), and lifting bracket (10) from right end cover (11). Discard lockscrews. CAUTION Contamination of control valves can cause transmission failure. Make sure dirt does not get into control valves when top cover is removed. NOTE Three different length lockscrews are used to secure top cover. Mark location of top cover lockscrews to ensure proper installation. 0399 00-3
