TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK, FILLER TUBE, AND ADAPTER (X200-4A ONLY) — Continued 0396 00 INSTALLATION 1. Install new gasket (6) and adapter (4) on transmission (7). Secure with four screws (5). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 20-25 LB-FT (27-34 N m) TORQUE. 2. Install new preformed packing (3) and elbow (2) on adapter (4) and thread jam nut (1). Do not tighten nut. 3. Slide clamp (8) on tube (9). Position tube on elbow (2) and thread coupling nut (10). Do not tighten nut. 4. Install bracket (11) on transmission cover (12). Secure with washer (13) and screw (14). 5. Align clamp (8) with bracket (11). Secure clamp with screw (15) washer (16), and nut (17). 6. Tighten jam nut (1) and coupling nut (10). 0396 00-4
