TM 9-2350-277-20-3 REPLACE BATTERY LEADS AND TERMINALS (M981A3 ONLY) — Continued 0342 00 NOTE Ensure cables (13) and (14) are mounted to the inward side of terminals. 6. Place battery cables (13) and (14) between positive and negative terminal adapters on batteries (7) and (15), (10) and (16). 7. Insert end of STE/ICE circuit 779 lead (17) through front opening in battery box and route to negative terminal of battery (16). 8. Secure leads to each battery terminal adapter (5) on batteries (7)(10)(15)(16) with cable mounting bolts (18) and nuts (19). 9. Coat tops of eight battery terminal adapters with grease. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground leads (WP 0339 00). 2. Install battery access cover (see your -10). 3. Start engine (see your -10). 4. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10). 5. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0342 00-5/6 blank
