REPLACE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH/BRACKET — Continued

CLEANING
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
1.
Clean switch with dry rag.
2.
Clean switch with cleaning compound.
3.
Check circuit 370 lead and ground lead for continuity with switch plunger depressed. If test indicates open circuit,
replace defective switch.
4.
Check circuit 367 lead and 366A lead for continuity with switch plunger released. If test indicates open circuit, replace
defective switch.
INSTALLATION
NOTE
Do Step 1 if bracket was removed.
1.
Install bracket (1) on hull. Secure with one screw (2), two washers (3), and new locknut (4). Tighten screw.
2.
Install switch (5) on bracket (1). Secure with lockwasher (6) and jamnut (7). Do not tighten nut.
3.
Connect three plugs (8) on switch (5) to wiring harness (9) leads 366A, 367, and 370. Make sure lead numbers match.
4.
Install switch ground lead (10) on bracket (1). Secure with other screw (2), two washers (3), and new locknut (4).
Tighten screw.
