REMOVAL
NOTE
Except for number of circuit leads, left and right stop light-tail light and guards are replaced
the same way. Tag leads so you will know how to install them.
1.
On left stop light-tail light, disconnect circuit 21 lead (1), circuit 22 lead (2), and circuit 24 lead (3) from stop light-tail
light (4).

On right stop light-tail light, disconnect circuit 24 lead (5) and circuit 23 lead (6) from stop light-tail light (7).
NOTE
To remove antenna support on the M981A3 and M58 only (WP 0602 00). The M58 has only a
left antenna support.
Cable reel holder is only used on the right tank on the M1064A3 and M58, and on both tanks on
the M981A3.

Remove two screws (8), lockwashers (9), washers (10), and cable reel holder (11) (M981A3, M1064A3, and M58 only)
from guard (12) and external fuel tank. Discard lockwashers.
