FUEL PUMP ELECTRICAL (FUEL TANK) REPAIR (CONTINUED) A B C D DISASSEMBLY LEFT FUEL PUMP Disconnect electrical cable assembly (1) at terminal assembly H Pull open latch (18). (2) and at fuel pump (3). I Separate fuel pump (3) and hanger assembly (19). Remove three nuts (4) and three lockwashers (5) from three studs (6). J Remove two screws (20), four lockwashers (21) and two nuts (22) at hanger assembly (19) and fuel pump (3). Remove terminal assembly (2), gasket (7), plate and terminal assembly (8) and gasket (9) from plate cover (10). K Remove ground lead (23). Loosen nut (11) and remove hose (12) from elbow (13). L Remove two retainer halves (24) and rubber mount (25) from fuel pump (3). Discard rubber mount. E Remove nut (14) and serrated washer (15) from elbow (13). NOTE F Remove elbow (13) and preformed packing (16) from plate cover (10). No disassembly of fuel pump is required. Test and replace pump if defective. G Remove clamp (17) and hose (12) from fuel pump (3). Discard hose. TA312500 4-3 Change 1 TM 9-2350-267-34
