Section Ill COMMANDER’S CUPOLA RACE RING COMMANDER’S CUPOLA (RACE RING) REPAIR INITIAL SETUP Personnel Reqired: Two WARNING Have an assistant hold lock ring in place as screws are removed. A falling ring could cause injury. A B Remove 10 screws (1) releasing lock ring (2) from vehicle ceiling and cupola (3) from roof of vehicle. Install two eyebolts (4) in machinegun support screw holes. WARNING Cupola weighs 360 pounds. Use hoist and sling capable of lifting 1000 pounds. C D E Attach suitable sling to two eyebolts (4) and hinge tube cover (5). Attach suitable lifting device to sling. Remove cupola (3) from vehicle. 14-7 Change 4 TM 9-2350-267-34
