5-28 TM 9-2350-267-34 VANE AXIAL COOLING FAN ASSEMBLIES REPAIR (CONTINUED) Q R S Install clamp or collar on shaft (29). Set up and secure fan housing (4) on support blocks on hot surf ace. Set up dial test indicator (zeroed) at outer tip of one blade. NOTE Backlash must be within 0.007-0.021 inch. T Move fan blade by hand and read backlash on dial test indicator. U Remove or install shims (8) as required to obtain 0.007- to 0.021-inch backlash. TA309761
