2-306.8 Change 4TM 9-2350-267-20J Turn the engine AFES T/A panel Maintenance switch to the maintenanceposition and check the green POWER ON lamp to make sure the AFES is notpowered. Disconnect the engine AFES T/Apanel from the test box and returnthe AFES to its normal configuration. Turn the engine AFES T/A panelMaintenance switch to the horizontal position and check the green POWERON lamp to verify the AFES is powered. Observe the engine AFES T/A panelFEXT LED’s for fault indication. If the FEXT LED’S are not illuminated, theproblem is solved. If the FEXT LEDs are illuminated, go to step K.K Locate the fire extinguisher cylinder bottle indicated as faulty by the engineAFES T/A panel LED and disconnect it from wire harness 12352354. Usingextension cable TC6, connect fire extinguisher wire harness 12352354connector P2 or P3 (from fire extinguisher) to connector TJ6 of the test box(this simulates a good fire extinguisher cylinder bottle). Observe the engineAFES T/A panel fault LED. If the fault LED does not illuminate or goes out,replace faulty engine fire extinguisher cylinder bottle (p 14-27). If LEDremains illuminated repair leads 788E, 789E or 793E in connector P2, orleads 793F or 794 in connector P3, or replace harness 12352354 (p 14-50.5).Verify problem is solved.
