Disconnectbattery ground cables before disconnecting cableassembly.A Remove engine AFES relays cover (p 14-35).BTo remove relay no. 1 (1) disconnect plug (2) and remove two mountingscrews (3) and two lockwashers (4). Discard lockwashers.NOTEThere are six wires connected to relay no. 2 and eightwires connected to relay no. 3.C To remove relay no. 2 (5) and relay no. 3 (6) from plate, disconnect wires(7) from terminals (8), and remove four mounting screws (9) and fourlockwashers (10).
