TM 9-2350-267-10MAINTENANCE OF TRACK - ContinuedConnecting Track1.2.3.4.5.6.Install track fixture and tighten fixtures (1)evenly until link pins (2) are close enough toremove track fixtures (one at a time) andreinstall as illustrated in step 2.Continue to tighten fixtures (1) evenly untillink pins (2) are close enough to install endconnectors (3).Install end connectors by tapping on with hammer.wedges at this time.Do not attempt to installPosition vehicle so connecting point is positioned on idler wheel where shoes arebent at approximately a 12- degree angle.Install wedges and bolts; tighten.NOTENotify Organizational Maintenance to torque wedge bolts.Torque again after 50 miles.Adjust track tension (p 330).3-34
