TM 9-2350-267-10MAINTENANCE OF TRACK - ContinuedWARNINGLubricant is under high pressure.Loosen bleed plug (1) slowly toavoid injury to personnel.Open bleed plug (1) on track adjuster and reduce pressure until tension is adjusted.Tighten plug and wipe away excess grease.Removing/Installing Track Shoe1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.Decrease track tension.Remove bolts (1) retaining wedges (2) onall four end connectors (3) holding trackshoes.Install end connector puller (4) and tightenscrews (5) against ends of track link pins.Move all four end connectors out approxi-mately 1 Inch, but do not remove.Install track fixtures (6) on both sides ofshoe being removed, engaging track linkpins (7) on adjoining shoes.Remove end connectors (3) and trackshoe (8).Install new track shoe by reversing proce-dures 6,5,4, and 2.Tighten wedge screws to 90-100 Ib-ft iftorque wrench is available.3-31
