INSTALLATION
NOTE
The longer hose (2) should be installed in the upper grommet.
Install two new grommets (1) and two hoses (2) and (3) in power plant compartment bulkhead.

NOTE
Coolant heater kit contains four pieces of insulation tubing. A short piece of tubing is installed
between power plant compartment bulkhead and battery box.

Slide tubing (4) and clamp (5) onto each hose (2) and (3). Install hoses on two elbows (6). Secure with clamps. Wrap
ends of insulated tubing with overlapping turns of insulated tape to prevent unravelling.
NOTE
On M113A2 carriers, route hoses (2) and (3) through brackets on sponson and install on two
tubes (7). Secure with clamps (5).
