INSTALLATION
NOTE
Apply a light coat of antiseize compound to threads of tapered pipe or straight- thread fittings
before installation.
1.
Remove plug (1) from transmission oil cooler to engine block inlet elbow (2). Save plug.
2.
Install elbow (3) in inlet elbow (2).
3.
Install nipple (4) and reducer (5) on elbow (3).
4.
Install valve (6) at approximate angle shown. Safety wire tag (7) to valve.
5.
Remove plug (8) from left end of coolant crossover tube elbow (9). Save plug.
