Install 12 screws (3), new washers (4), and transmission (1) on transfer gearcase. Have helper (H) assist. Tighten screws
to 252-300 lb-in (28-34 N•m) torque. Loosen screws and retighten to 252-300 lb-in (28-34 N•m) torque.
4.
Remove hoisting adapter (5), four screws (6), and washers (7) from transmission.
5.
Position cross shaft bracket (8) with attached hoses, wiring harness, and differential oil filter on transmission and install
with two new key washers (9) and screws (10).
