INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Materials/Parts Tiedown strap (7) (WP 0542 00, Item 43) Connector (2) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Cargo compartment floor plates removed (WP 0393 00) Battery negative lead(s) disconnected (WP 0292 00) Left and right stoplight-taillights removed (WP 0278 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect rear harness circuit 21 lead (1) and circuit 22-460 lead (2) from right taillight leads. Remove lead connector (3), sleeve (4), and shell (5) from each lead. Discard two connectors. 2. Remove screw (6), nut (7), two right spacer plates (8), and bushing (9). Remove rear harness circuit 21 and 22-460 lead (1) and 22–460 lead (2) from bushing. Pull leads through spacer plates. 3. Disconnect circuit 22-460 lead (10) in left taillight. 4. Disconnect circuit 21 lead (11) and circuit 21 lead (12) in left taillight. 0512 00-1
