INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Soldering Gun (WP 0541 00, Item 23) Materials/Parts Tiedown strap (32) (WP 0542 00, Item 43) Tin alloy solder (WP 0542 00, Item 44) Grommet (1) Lock washer (2) Terminal (2) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery negative lead(s) disconnected (WP 0292 00) Left and right stoplight-taillight removed (WP 0278 00) Cargo compartment floor plates removed (WP 0393 00) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 460 and 461 leads (1) at right and left front turn lamps (2), respectively. 2. Remove terminal (3), sleeve (4), shell (5), and circuit marker band (6) from end of harness leads (1). Discard two terminals. 0511 00-1
