TM 9-2350-247-20-3 REPLACE AIR BRAKE RESERVOIR (M548A1) 0491 00 THIS WORK PACKAGE COVERS: Removal (page 0491 00-1). Installation (page 0491 00-2). INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic Helper (H) References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Top access cover and grilles removed (WP 0390 00) Center seat raised (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Release air pressure from reservoir (1) at drain cock (2). 2. Disconnect air tube line (3), air tube line (4), and air tube line (5) from reservoir (1). 3. Remove air tube fittings (WP 0495 00). 4. Remove air brake safety valve (WP 0492 00). 5. Remove drain cock (2) from reservoir (1). NOTE Use helper to lift out reservoir. It is awkward to lift out. 6. Remove two nuts (6), clamp (7), clamp (8), and reservoir (1) from two brackets (9). Lift out reservoir. 0491 00-1
