INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Materials/Parts Antiseize compound (WP 0542 00, Item 6) Lock nuts (2) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Top access cover and grilles removed (WP 0390 00) Power plant rear access cover/door removed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Release air reservoir pressure at drain cock (1). 2. Disconnect compressor-to-governor air hose (2) from adapter (3). 3. Disconnect reservoir air tube (4) from adapter (5). 4. Remove two lock nuts (6), screws (7), and governor (8) from air cleaner assembly. Discard lock nuts. 5. Remove adapter (3) and adapter (5) from governor (8). 0490 00-1
