INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) Materials/Parts Sealing compound (WP 0542 00, Item 33) Lock washer (2) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Battery negative lead disconnected (WP 0292 00) Top left access grille removed (WP 0390 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove pump circuit 402 lead (1) from heater wiring harness. 2. Remove hose (2) from elbow (3) and hose (4) from elbow (5). Remove elbows from fuel pump (6). 3. Remove two screws (7), lock washers (8), fuel pump (6), and capacitor (9) from rear power plant compartment bulkhead. Discard lock washers. 0449 00-1
