REPLACE COOLANT PUMP (M548A1) -- Continued

Install hose (7) and two clamps (8) on thermostat housing (9) and coolant pump (2). Tighten two clamps.
3.
Install dipstick housing clamp (10) on coolant pump bracket (11). Secure with screw (12) and nut (13).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install and adjust coolant pump drive belts (WP 0223 00).
2.
Fill cooling system (WP 0212 00).
3.
Check cooling fan for proper adjustment (WP 0226 00).
4.
Ensure that drive pulleys are tight.
5.
Check that air intake grille and radiator air passages are clean and free of debris.
CAUTION
Stop engine if coolant temperature gauge indicates 230 F (110 C) or above. Serious damage to
engine may result.
6.
Start engine (see your -10).
7.
Check coolant pump for proper operation.
8.
Stop engine (see your -10).
9.
Install hull bottom access cover (WP 0383 00).
10. Lower center seat (see your -10).
