TM 9-2350-247-20-1 CARRIER DOES NOT PIVOT (M548A1)—Continued 0072 00 3Y 1. Check pivot steer linkage. 2. Has pivot steer linkage been adjusted? YES NO 3YN 1. Adjust pivot steer linkage (WP 0370 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 4Y 1. Remove quick-disconnect coupling,(1) from right caliper (3) or quick-disconnect coupling (2) from left caliper (4) . 2. Pull left or right pivot steer handle and hold. Handle should stop about half way and not bleed off or feel spongy. 3. Does handle stop firmly and hold? YES NO 4YN 1. Replace master cylinder (WP 0371 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 5Y 1. Inspect pivot steer brake linings for wear (WP 0375 00). 2. Are brake linings serviceable? YES NO 5YN 1. Replace pivot steer brake linings (WP 0375 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 6Y 1. Faulty differential. 2. Notify your supervisor. 0072 00-2
