Remove cover (2) and gasket (11) from APU chain housing (12). Discard gasket.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
WARNING
Drycleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective goggles
and gloves, and use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and
clothes, and DO NOT use near open frames or excessive heat.
1.
Clean all parts with drycleaning solvent.
2.
Inspect for stripped or crossed threads.
3.
Inspect cover (2) for cracks or damage to mating surfaces.
4.
Replace parts as necessary.

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Sealant adhesive can bum easily, can give off harmful vapors, and is harmful to skin
and clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep sealant adhesive away from open fire and
use in a well-ventilated area. If sealant adhesive gets on skin or clothing, wash
immediately with soap and water.
