15-41. APU COMPARTMENT LOUVERED GRILLE REPLACEMENT.
This Task Covers:

Initial Setup:
Tool/Test Equipment:
• Lockwasher (1 O) (Item 166, Appendix H)
• General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24,
Appendix 1)
Equipment Conditions:
• Vehicle parked on level ground (refer
Material/Parts:
to TM 9-2350-287-1 O).
• Gasket (Item 81, Appendix H)

REMOVAL

Remove 10 screws (4) and Iockwashers (5) from APU compartment louvered grille (3) and side of vehicle hull
(2). Discard Iockwashers.
Remove louvered grille (3) and gasket (1) from side of vehicle hull (2).
Discard gasket.
INSTALLATION
Install louvered grille (3) and new gasket
(1) on side of vehicle hull (2).
Install 10 screws (4) and new Iockwashers
(5) on louvered grille (3) and secure to side
of vehicle hull (2).
