Check that APU Generator switch (11) is set to OFF.

Turn FUEL SHUTOFF switch (7) to ON. The LOW OIL PRESSURE larnp (9) will light until APU engine starts.
9.
Turn PREHEAT switch (8) to MOMentary ON. Hold switch at ON for 2 minutes.
NOTE
If APU engine doesn’t start within 30 seconds, release START switch but continue to hold PREHEAT
switch at ON for another minute. After allotted time, position START switch at ON again. If engine still
does not start after another 30 seconds of starting procedure, refer to procedure for starting the APU
when outside temperature is -25° to -65°F (-31.70C to -53.90°C) (p. 2-219).
10. While holding PREHEAT switch at ON, position and hold START switch (10) at MOMentary ON. Hold both switches at
ON until 30 seconds have passed, then release.
APU should start.
