TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE TRANSIENT SUPPRESSOR (M901A3 ONLY) — Continued 0889 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Refer to TM 11-5915-223-12 for transient suppressor maintenance. 1. Remove paint where ground strap (5) will touch bracket (10) and suppressor (2). 2. Install ground strap (5), new lockwashers (9), and four mounts (8) on bracket (10). 3. Install suppressor (2) on mounts (8). Secure with four new lockwashers (7) and nuts (6). 4. Install ground strap (5) on suppressor (2). Secure with new lockwasher (4) and screw (3). 5. Connect three cables to connectors (1) on transient suppressor (2). FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00). END OF TASK 0889 00-3/4 blank
