TM 9-2350-277-20-6 REPLACE STE/ICE SHUNT GUARD (M981A3 ONLY) — Continued 0869 00 1. Remove six screws (1), locknuts (2), 12 washers (3), and shunt guard (4) with wiring harness attached from battery box. Discard locknuts. 2. Remove two locknuts (5), screws (6), clamps (7), four washers (8), and wiring harness (9) from shunt guard (4). Discard locknuts. CLEANING CLEANING, INSPECTION, AND REPAIR 1. Check shunt guard for corrosion, bends, and cracks. Repair or replace damaged guard. 2. Check shunt guard plastic coating for cracks, separation, and missing plastic. Repair plastic coating. 0869 00-2
