REPLACE M3 NBC HEATER HOSES AND FITTINGS (M113A3 ONLY) — Continued

11. Install commander’s station hose (1) and clamp (2) on heater (3). Tighten clamp.
12. Install clamp (4) on commander’s station hose (1).
13. Secure electrical leads (5) to commander’s station hose (1) with new straps (6) as required.
14. If removed, clean hull, remove backing paper and firmly install new fastener tape (8) against the front bulkhead or top
plate. Install the web straps (7) to the tapes (8).
15. Install commander’s station hose (1) in three web straps (7) on front bulkhead and top plate.
16. Install commander’s station hose (1) on connector (9).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery ground strap (WP 0337 00).
2.
Check/adjust air flow of NBC system. Follow procedures in TM 3-6680-316-10.
3.
Start engine (see your -10).
4.
Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).
5.
Stop engine (see your -10).
